Soon, we will be opening our back patio, and while it won't be completely finished, it will be good enough for now and honestly, the only word I have to describe the mornings out back is: magical. I envision a future of a crowd of early risers having a morning tea and breakfast while watching the birds flit around the tree branches, singing their unique songs--just a typical weekday morning.
We've begun catering and making sorbet this week. Our cold top is starting to finally see a little action, and wow. the texture that we get from it is divine. We did our first catering job in a long time, and the first job we've done from the restaurant. We had a shaky start, and probably could have made more meatballs, but other than that, we were proud of what we served. It was fun, also, just to get out of the kitchen and see the outside world for a second.
Other than that, I'm just looking towards the future of our company.... And a vacation. Until Next Time, Eat Raw, Live Long!
